Besides converting my gaming setup to the style of a 3rd person view I had to learn the ins-and-outs of my class. As most people who play the game know, the hunter class is a much maligned class as it is easy to play, but hard to truly master, so after almost 8 years, I almost have it figured out.

Troll Quadilious on his Iron Bound Drake! (gotten while it was top teir.)

The Game History of Quadilious

Ever since I saw the advertisement that first offered the Ten Days Free! in 2006, I've been a hunter named Quadilious. The origin of the name was an accident of me mispelling Quadilicious, which means a tasty treat enjoyed only by my Mrs. Initally I struggled trying to convert my playing style I used to play FPS to great effect, but soon I got a handle on it and proceeded to become what I am today!

When Burning Crusade arrived I was starting to come to grips with the mechanics of the game and spent almost the entire expansion PVP'ing learning how to move, shoot and just how to recognize when my feet were on fire. By the time The Black Temple opened I had joined my first raiding guild and learning the craft of 25 man encounters. I learned a lot from Fel Kin, and I wouldn't be the raider I am today without them.

There are a few I'd like to get, but at this point they don't really concern me too much.

Wrath arrived and we were tooling around in Naxxramas when the end for Fel Kin started. I started looking for a new guild and the week before Ulduar opened, a guild name Forthright decided to take a chance on me. I asked no special treatment, and believe me,  they gave none! By the time Ulduar was finishing, we were server first at everything and continued to be so through The Tournement. When ICC opened we hit it hard with PTR training and started getting US top 100 kills and achievments, right up to Sindragosa when Reality took a toll and we lost a majority of our team to jobs, graduations etc. I moved to Ice Crown and joined up with Jinx, but as teir was closing, the guild killer (RL) struck again. As patch 4 came out, I started beta testing Cata and then ....

Faction change to Worgen and guild change to Ultima Ratio and BWD, BOT, and TOTFW were attacked. Great guys and gals but an older guild member showed up and the structure of the guild changed. No ill will but it did not suit my philosophy of gameplay. It was the eminent release of Firelands when Rhamousia (my guild leader from Forthright) contacted me and said they were reforming, on Moonguard, so I packed up my gear and scooted on over. We hit it hard again and quickly got our Corrupted Pheonix achievment mounts before the nerf came (the tornado achievment sucked pre-nerf but with some help from my guild and FRAPS, we quickly figured out a very simple method, guaranteed to work everytime. (Video to the right.) Unfortunately we never got H Ragnorosm due to the demise of 25 man raiding at this point and Forthright became a 10 man raid. At this point I wasn't comfortable running 10's yet so I joined a 25 that hit Dragon Soul hard and had my Deathwing kill within 2 days! Unfortunately their schedual was a bit too intense for me and RL also popped up, so I joined a guild looking for a very experienced raider and ended up in a 10 raid on Drak' Thul to help them take the next step up  in raidcraft and finished DS with a perfect 8/8 heroic. unfortunately we then lost too many to remain viable for the next expansion.

MoP came and I joined up with, well I'll just say Bushido, but they were a 25 group that broke into 3 groups that canniballized from each other.  Low server population prevented us from completing heroic teir because we couldn't replace people fast enough and eventually forced us to move to Lightbringer where we became Renati and are now sitting at 7/14 heroic. Unfortunately we are on hiatus while RL is sorted out.
